Sanko Co., Ltd (hereafter, "Sanko") recognizes the importance of information that can identify a customer (hereafter, "private information") and protects the private information provided from customers by observing laws, regulations, and company regulation related to private information and implementing acquisition, use, and management of private information to be handled in all business activities of Sanko.

1. Proper acquisition

Sanko obtains the private information in proper and fair method.

2. Clarification of purpose of use

Sanko sets the purpose of use as following as a general rule at the acquisition of private information. If the provision to third party is planned, it will be implemented within the proper range after clarifying the purpose and the range etc.

  1. The private information will be used for providing information such as sending of catalogue from Sanko and reply for inquiries.
  2. The private information will be used as data for improving the services of Sanko.
  3. The private information will be used for providing the news from Sanko shown below in methods such as e-mail, telephone, and posting.
    • 1) Product information of a new product etc.
    • 2) Invitation to an event such as exhibition and seminar
    • 3) Introduction of business of Sanko and group companies
    • 4) Notification from sales representative

3. Restriction of use out of purpose of use

Sanko restricts the use of private information within the target range that is preliminarily specified and does not use the private information exceeding the target range without consent of customers.

4. Disclosure / provision to third party

Sanko does not disclose or provide the private information to third party exceeding the case falling into any of following categories.

  1. When a customer him/herself agrees to the disclosure / provision
  2. When the statistical data etc. is disclosed / provided while the identical person cannot be identified
  3. When the disclosure / provision is demanded based on laws and regulations
  4. When the disclosure / provision is necessary to protect human life, body, or properties and it is difficult to obtain customer's consent
  5. When it is necessary to cooperate with country or local public agency etc. for the implementation of formal office work and it may be difficult to implement the corresponding office work by obtaining the customer's consent

5. Protection / management

Sanko manages the private information safely to prevent illegal access to private information, loss, destruction, falsification, and leak of private information and try to ensure, improve, and correct the security.

6. Checkup, correction etc.

If a customer needs to check, correct, and delete the customer's private information, please contact the person in charge of Sanko. We will respond to it in a proper method. To prevent leak of private information and rewriting by third person, we will check whether the requester is the identical person.

7. Safety management for link

Sanko cannot accept any responsibility on customer's private information on Web site of third party linked to Web site, which is operated by Sanko.
